I’m a sponge
That can’t hold much water.
I’ll get drown in it

Its overflowing; the water

Hellohello!!
I'm so glad this week is over, and thank God for it!
Preparing for O's isn't something easy; it requires lots of time and effort.
Lack of sleep for most time of the week, so i had a wonderful night...today.
hahah.

Because of school, my training time for canoeing is shorten greatly.
Everytime i'm rushing between school and canoeing; it's tiring me out :(
Yesterday the moment a few of us(sec4s) reached Bedok Reservior, everyone was packing up because of the bad weather.
And guess what, THE LIGHTNING WARNING SYSTEM WAS STRUCK BY LIGHTNING.
hahaha!
So they had to employ that 'bum' boat to go around telling everyone to get back to shore.
The winds and currents yesterday was really strong, trust me.
The last moments in the water was like the capsize team.
Well, NOT our school who capped. :)
Packed up, and all of us went back to school to do gym and stuffs.
The best part was that, THE RAIN STOPPED.

But never mind, i had a good run yesterday on the treadmill.
How i wish to own one at home. D:

First week of school is already so hectic and energy draining.
I expect this following year will be worse.
My hwk for this weekend:

- EL comprehension+summary
- CL book report (summary + reflections)
- Chem wb, chapters on Air, and Metals. (supposedly to be hol hwk-.-)
- Amaths factor formulae ws
- Emaths TB 1.2 qns
- Phy worksheet on waves(recap)
- Bio wb on homeostasis
- Chem test on Enthalpy Change on Monday
- Emaths test on Tues (?)
- EL ppt presentation on argumentative topic

Well, in fact my load is considered average, as compared to those who are having Bio exam next week :(
Go to bed every night at 12, fall asleep at 1am.
Wake up at 6.20am, end school at 3.25( Tues, Wed,Thurs, Fri) or 4(Mon).
Next week school will end later when canoeing starts...
My body clock is still not working right.
So today I slept till 11am... and was woken up by Kim's many calls. (!)
Okay, not blaming you, friend. :)
So a few of us went to Singapore Poly and Ngee Ann Poly's open house.
@Dover and Clementi, and they spells FAR.
Literally far from where i live.
Almost an one hour ride on public transport.
Met a few familar faces there, got to know more about life in Poly.
Well, as for me, i'm still unsure where to go, what do i want to do.
Goal-less! How sad.
Nvm, i'll keep praying!
After a long day of walking, cabbed home from Clementi to Bedok and almost fell asleep.
My future is uncertain.
Sigh.

Oh, and i made a choice this week.
A decision that many can't help it to do it, but yet i, having a choice, chose it.
I only realise after making the decision.
My situation spells: dilemma.
And...
I still can't make up my mind.
Such a fickled-minded me.

This was my life the past 2 weeks cause wasnt feeling well.
Computer broke down till today.
Missed the canoeing camp.
Missed ALL my trainings. (great, muscles all soggy liao==')
Missed the sun.
Missed going shopping!
Missed 2 weeks of church.

But life has been good in a way.
I had time for books, some quiet time.
Time to think ... deeper.
But not quite enough, some still posed as a question mark.
Oh well, they'll just be there.

Caught New Moon on 3 Dec.
(spoiler, warning)
I thought it was not up to standard, the characters seemed to have bad acting(no offense).
The effects and lightings for New Moon may be better than Twilight, but somehow i prefer Twilight.
Probably because of the content.
They actually tried to squeeze the whole book into that 2 hrs, and it definitely missed out a lot of details.
The Volturi was cool, but, just ugly Aro, haha.
(Those who don't understand what i'm talking pls just ignore.)
Edward(Rob. Pat) wasn't as hot as the one in Twilight.
Bella Swan(Kristen Steward) ... well.. as usual.
Jacob Black(Taylor Lautner) has good acting i'll say!
Haha.
New Moon the movie has one of the crappiest ending ever.
SIGH.
So much for catching the movie on the day of release.
but well, at least i've gotten a breather, and it has definitely lightened my mood.

I felt the urge to touch the computer today after the long hours of school.

During bio, everyone was very mad at the teacher beacause of ___+___+___+___= we could not concentrate her lessons.
Lessons ended at 4.30, extended again.
And i could not really open my eyes, it was painful, tired and piercing. :(
Yesterday reached home at around 10.30pm after Alex's birthday celebration at his dad's restaurant.

I had bad mood just now, but my Dad brightened my day! :)

My FINGERS had the ugliest tan ever.

About more than half of the class had to meet our maths teacher outside staff's room after school for not handing in homework.
Well i was almost sure that i handed in everything, but i went cause she said if anyone were to go MIA she'll...do something.

Yeah, waited half an hr for the queue, trying to find that missing worksheet, and suddenly Dennis took out a piece of paper and, "Jieyi! Your worksheet!"
Hah, second time.
But nvm! :D

We received our report cards today...
Because my school don't have like special week solely for CA exams, it is spread out evenly on every Wednesday morning.
So every test counts :O

I'm starting to get mole calculation and salts(chem), cause i studied few days ago.
They are so interesting, but I'm not sure if I'm suitable to keep my pure subs.
Chem teacher told us today that if EOY's chem result fail, we will have to drop to get combine science.
Well, I've been passing my chem these days (the one that i failed in this term was the one that she took for the CA. I've scored better for other tests D; )
Worrying for my physics instead ;{

Our class won the overall champion in Soccer!

Oh, hi all! :D
I suppose this week is considered one of the good weeks i have in a year, thank God!
Nothing much happened, although i failed my p.physics paper again...
I wonder how some people can get full marks ;O
But God's grace for me is sufficient, it's just there for me to realise the little things in life.
Today was a short day in school( as in lessons), so it was great! (haha, get what i mean? ;p)
For today's training, Shona, Natalie, Hazel and me tried K4(4 ppl's boat)!
It was quite good, no capsizing although it was our first time try it out together. (Hazel K1 rower)
But i think it's human nature for Hazel to tap on the water(a lottt) half way during rowing.
I guess she's just not used to such a sudden change. ;)
I was the last rower, and the feeling of being the one behind seems to be a good place for me!
Can command(busybody, hah), can see everyone's strokes, and ultimately all of them can hear meee :D
HA.
Well, if Shona(first rower) were to speak or say anything, it's most likely none, or probably me, can hear cause the wind would drift her voice away.
Sprinting needs to be improved though. =)
But among lindsay, shona, hazel, natalie and me, who will be taking K4?
I supposed me and shona fixed to K4, but....
Ah, leave it to the coach to think about that..

In school today, we were supposed to write a short story about a teacher that inspired your life most...
Because i went into the class late due to some reason (hah), i completed it in the canteen when school's over.
Oh, guess what i wrote?
Although i got out of the point, focusing too much on myself instead of the teacher, but the part about me is really true.
The moments i had in the water/reservoir was just too priceless.
Well, i'll just leave you there hanging;)

MAY THE FORCE BE WITH ME.
Just now when i was showering, i placed my shampoo bottle in an awkward position such that it fell on me.
I screamed(scared my mom), and got a around 15cm fresh cut on my right thigh and a relatively smaller cut on my right feet.
Great.
Then when i got out, i went to get a drink.
AND the moment i held my mug up, the handle just broke!
Like, i was literally holding just the handle in my hands, leaving the 'cup' on the tray.
Baaaaah, what a vicious cycle!

The bits and pieces of life life is building up, and soon it will be EOY examinations!
Hope i will do something about it soon, hah,

Well, just a short update here since i realised i've not been posting for quite some time.

Training has officially commenced last week, and for water trainings i've been taking k2 with Shona.
I have no idea when coach wants to put us in k4.
I'm not really anticipating to get into a k4 cause im afraid of the commitments.
Also, i've been wanting to take k1 but ___________.
Fickle minded.

It doesn't feel good not to be there during the presentation when you contribute quite a lot to the work.
And i dont get to see the happy faces of 4E1 who receive the big big card.
I spent so much time into it and... D;
Gah, who ask me to be sick on the day of presentation.

Amaths retest i passed with a B3.
Jumped 6 grades as compared to midyr.
You can see how badly i scored for mye if you do your calculations ;O
Although there are more passes in our class this time round, but other classes seems to have lesser passes as compared to MYE.
Oh well. :x

Currently the project we(me, lind, kim, yizhen, alex) have on hand is a Social Studies project.
It is supposed to be a short video on the theme of Social Cohesion.
Left approximately one week to complete, and so far we have only shot 2 scenes at kim's place.
The editing i believe will take quite a while to be done. :x
The market scene which is to be done next week, thankfully we do not have to wear the 'unique', in other words UNSIGHTLY costumes.
When the video is completed, you'll see why.

It's God's grace that my fever subsided!

Two days ago after my english oral, i was not feeling well so kim made me take my temperature, and i found out that i was having fever.
The next day i missed school and went to the doctor ALONE!
It was my first time going to the doctor alone, and definitely my parents gave me insufficient instructions!
So i sat there, with my prescription list and waited for 15 mins 'till i realise that i'm supposed to put it in some tray.
But nevermind, take it as a lesson learnt :)
The doctor gave me 2 days mc, and i felt better on the second day, which is today.
But i rmb how our form teacher 'shoo' people back home if their mc was not due for them to come back.
I just hope that my cough, sore throat and slight flu will be healed soon :D
Yesterday about 1/4 ppl in our class absent, scary. ;O

Rested enough, i guess im probably going to start on my assignments that my dear Shermaine/Kimberly collected for me.

Yesterday's Chinese EOY oral was really badddddddd.
I stuttered a lot while reading the passage, as if i have spasms!
The strings of 'chim' words that came out almost made my mind blank.
The conversation was another matter, where there was one point in time when i said something that was totally out of the point.
Then the invigilator gave me the '?' face, then i just stopped talking for like 5 secs.
This is the first time i face such a terrible oral examination.

After Chinese oral exam, i went home to change and rushed to meet the my church friends at Bedok Interchange, cause we had a gathering of BBQ that day at Enoch's house, the Bayshore.
The food was great, chatting was fun, bbq-ing was also interesting.
Sihui poured/spammed some honey/butter (cant rmb) over the satay and the fire flared up, burning the sticks of the satays.
That explains the stick-less satays.
LOL.
Anyway, i wanna thank God for the day, a better ending rather than ending the day with my chinese oral.
:P

Next week, triple sciences' tests/common tests will be up...
Maths retest of MYE, where the whole class have to take even if they pass(minority).

Update!
Okay, so basically last week was considered as a great week for me.
Firstly because of the implications of H1N1, school seems to start a little later, so i found myself walking into the school at 0728 almost every morning.
Shoik, no catching of latecomers.(:P)
(eh, i was late today...BUT second time of my entire secondary school life! SEE.)
Secondly, my Quiet Time has becoming more regular, and i feel closer with God :D
The 40-day prayer book is helpful, and it sets me thinking about the salvation of Singapore.
Let's hope for the better! :DD

Last Saturday, i went out with my besties (kim, lind) to Raffles City - S'pore River - Esplanade - Marina Square - Millenia Walk - Suntec City. (adapted from kim's blog)
WALK from one to another okay, see how much thigh muscles we have strengthened tht day, haha.
I just wanna thank God for placing such wonderful people in my life! :D

So that LCMJ happily keep pouring salt into the milk tea while we were talking till i realised that it was salt.

Well, i think u can guess how much scoldings i received from they two.

But IT tasted really bad.

Okay, last friday.
It was a supposingly 'celebration' of Youth Day, but because of the H1N1 (-.-), there were no celebrations at all.
Everyone in class wore black and white, except Mrs Choo, who wore white and pink, cause she claimed that nobody told her.
I heard that Mrs Quek wore sch U, hahaha.
I ever knew she was so enthu (:
Oh, and syrarif painted with face black and white.
Plus a pair of gloves and a suspender, he starting miming and made everyone laughed.
Haha.
The last two periods which we were the 'celebration' part, our class had a sing-a-long session which was thankfully successful at the last song cause the guys did not want to sing, but Mrs Choo threathened that if they didnt sing, we can't go home.
That was something funny :D
Oh, and we heard a song from Sheril that she composed!

After school me, kim and ys went kbox at E!Hub.
We all sang out of tune, wakakaks :P
Okay, ys idk what to say anymore.
Oh ya, i got scolded by the two chinese proficient kim and ys cause i stammered a lot while singing the chinese lyrics.

First week of school was really nothing excited about.
Many students and teachers are on LOA (Leave Of Absence) because of the H1N1, and i think lessons are going at a much slower pace.
There's some shifting of teachers, and we had a new amaths teacher Mr.Tan.
He's one of the teachers on LOA, so i guess that pretty much explain how relaxed we are now, haha.

Today alone, we had five free periods(1 period=35 min) because geog, chinese and amaths teacher not in school.
Oh well, when things are back to its shape, i suppose that will be the payback time.

Yesterday and Monday, it was bio lesson that brighten our days.
We had much fun learning about the Heart.
God is so cool, having such a complicated and interesting way of designing our hearts :D
BUT, i was rather inactive in participation on Tues because it was.. dissection of sheep's heart.
Preserved heart.
It smells very bad to me, and each time i smell it, i can't help but to look away/complain.
Well, i hope i can curb this 'instinct' reaction if i am going to stick with bio for 2 years.
Hah, Jiahui was like telling me how interested she was when she heart it was dissection of sheep's heart.
LOL.
I'm supposed to go out study with kim and lind now, but my stomach is feeling funny.

Hey.
It's been quite sometime since i posted something.
Never been in the mood to post these days actually.
Okay, i know that this is very lag, but JUNE HOLIDAYS IS HERE once again!
One week has already passed so quickly, and i'm rather sure i cannot finish my hol assignments in time, or find myself rushing them the last minute. ):
I pray that it is not true though.

Yes, and how did i spend my last week?
I went shopping at the expo sales for the first two days(yes, 2-.-).
Right after that two tiring days, i fell sick, had fever, flu, sore throat, and whatever that came to my mind that instant was H1N1. Omg??!
OKAY, I'm alright now, thanks for u peeps' concern :D

Last Friday, a long waited WATER training after so long.
Tried out K4 boat with Shona, Lindsay and Natalie.
The decision is still between either Hazel or Natalie to be in K4 though.
Overall, the boat was quite stable i would say, just that a few of us has to over the fear of capsizing. ):
We capped like 5 times(-.-), like 3 times at the bank cause(one of it) i jumped out of the boat once i get to shore.
I tend to do that when i was in K2 too, like just leg out of boat when nearing the shore and get out once reached immediately.
Poor Shona and Natalie who was still in the boat lost balance and capsized.
Sorry, my fault. /:
I'll try to change that habit though, since we're gna be a bigger team(?) of K4.
Did a lot of sets of 250m, then packed up.
Basically today is just like try out the new boat, for the sec 3s (:

Today had land training.
I had stomache in the morning, therefore went training late :x
In the end i had to run alone.
Clocked a rather good timing(for me) for 2.4km run. 12:16 mins.
I'll never get this timing when i run with a group cause of distractions.
After running we did medicine ball, pushups, situps, rotation.
The sec 4s came over to 'visit' us in between their 15mins break.
Aww, imagine the sec3s now like us is going to go through next year what the sec4s now are going through now, going back to school during the holidays so often .__.
Alright, then after land training, me, linds, kim, nat and ss went to catch a movie.
Night at the museum 2.
Funny, yeah, and i know why people say it's not up to standard ;x

Yesterday a few of us went over to Alex's dad restaurant for dinner, our international classmate from England.
At kallang leisure park, iwannagetstuffed(restaurant's name).
Me, Lindsay, Carissa, Jiahao, Brendon.
His dad was nice to treat us to the food there, and basically it was a buffet restaurant, therefore we ate to our hearts' content :)

Sec2s set up stations.
I was a helper for the teachers Mainly Mrs Quek and Ms Chua, together with Carissa and Leo.
Basically when the all students from 3E1 and 3E2 were supposed to be leaders to small groups of sec1s, the special three of us were 'selected' to do the running.
Yes, running around the school and helping around.
More of admin i guess.
Prize presentation me and carissa were at the stage passing the prizes to the winning teams, the prizes we wrapped together with Jeannette.

Sports carnival, last day of school.
3E1 owned the whole carnival by wining all matches of La crosse, Captain's ball and three-legged soccer! :D

Just back from Shona's Church.

Lighthouse Baptist Church, very different from mine.

Experienced a new environment of worship, but eventually we serve the same God :)

My mom don't allow the sleepover at Shona's house so i guess only lindsay going. D:

Somehow i cannot 100% focus in class when teachers are going through the exam papers.

Firstly, MID-YEAR EXAMS ARE OVERRRRR! (Roar!)
It's such a rush this year for me.
After the canoeing comp was over, i had a hard time catching up with my studies.
It felt that after finishing the assignments and having make-up lessons, it's exam time.
Seriously, i studied the night before for most of the subjects ):
I really gotta manage my time well.
Well, it looks like i'm not going to do well for some papers like physics...
Tmr i guessed we're getting back our results.

Alright, it was rather pathetic with less than half the class there.

Alright, long story cut short, after bowling, many went home, so left a few of us who stayed and stood on for another round of cycling.

The first time was a waste of money totally, haha.

We planned to travel from ecp to Changi beach!

Some returned halfway, left 6 who completed the journey to Changi Beach.

Right after tuition, me kim and lin headed down to Bedok reservior(near tution place),

claiming they wanted to take pictures at the floating platform(above).

As what you've seen, i was 'attacked' and blindfolded by LINDSAY, with the accompliance KIMBERLY taking pictures.

First attempt: Put hole punched papers in my handbook, expecting me to fall into it.

Second attempt: Failed instantly because she had no chance to put the 'fake spilled drink' on my table.

Third attempt: Ganged up with the other sec 3s, mainly her and Natalie in act. They acted as if they were playing, so Natalie pushed Shona and she banged into the wall, claiming that she tooth broke and it hurts like mad. (till she cannot speak) Natalie screamed and cried(pro actress) and i thought it was real. GULLIBLE i am, i fell for it and started tearing too. (gosh) "APRIL FOOL!". I nearly chopped off Shona's head for that instant.

Such a tiring week.

I found myself to be in bed only after 1+ for the whole of this week, including Sunday.

Deprived of sleep.

Although there is only like, 2 tests this week(surprised), but the homework load is_______.

I want to complain, but it seems that i'm not the only one doing all these, so... (:

Today

Today's training was okay i would say, just that i have to push even harder to qualify myself for finals.

I'm dying to get into finals.

During the last 100m sprint, something happened.

Our K2 boat capsized.

It's the first time this year that our boat capsized, and me and Shona went, "Woah..."

Don't ask me how it happened, i just found myself to be in the water after saying, "Ready, 10 seconds to start, Go!"

I guessed we cut the water ._.

There's a new canoeing teacher today, so hope that we can bond well :D

Among all the canoeists only me and Hazel free aft school today(so sad) so we took Mrs Choo's car and moved lifejacs there and took out the paddles from the shed to coach's car.
Then we all went bedok interchange to get Mrs Choo's lunch, then drove back to school.
Me and hazel did something stupid aft that..

National Juniors is like, tomorrow, and I'm super not prepared.
We have yet to take a proper timing for 1000m.
Most likely we are going to use the ACS's boats for the comp which is in Macritchie Reservior. (hazel happy? this time i got it right)
Heat 1 lane 1, nice huh?
NJ have 6 heats for k21000m, which is like crazy lot.
I'm just gna do my best, knowing that my heat only consist of 2 secondary schools and 4 JCs.

We got back our class report card today and it's the first time i had underlines under my marks.

Sports day 2009.
Today's moring was awfully dreadful.

Just like everytime when you have to wake up early.

We were supposed to assemble in Bedok Stadium at 7, but i woke up at 645.

Almost late, but never ;P

I was in for 100m(surprisingly) finals and 4x100m relay.
Of course, i did not expect much from the 100m race cause Carissa, Anis and Shona's there is enough. :)
It was raining cats and dogs during the 100m race and Carissa was complaining why they still insist us on running.
I nearly slipped so i jogged through, haha.

4x100m relay was fun!
I was the first runner in lane 8 though, and it feels great to 'seem' to be leading!
haha.
Anyway as expected liping's grp(RUBY) got first, and we got the second placing(RUBY).
Overall, RUBY WINS!
Third year straight :D
Topaz nearly caught up, from usual last to second.
or should i say Ruby caught up from last (field events) to first house? :)

Tough fight next year.

After sports day was over we were dead beat but me, lindsay and kim managed to crawl to our lunch at bedok inter. ( i was still wet because of the rain, sweaty + knee pain)

Idk what's wrong with my knee.

Aft i reached home, i though since i was sweaty already, so i did some push ups, sit ups and planks, and fell alseep on the floor cause i was too tired. (can't believe it)

Half an hour later my mom reached home and found me lying in the middle of nowhere, haha.

Showered and went for a nap from 4 to like, 9.

Haha.

Next sat 14 Mar.

I.am.made.of.metal.
That's what my mom says.
I never knew the limit i should do for sports.
Or probably there isn't one in the first place.
My mind is fighting against my body.
The fight of, "You are better than what you think you are, push.".
It was hard,
but I did, and i realised it too.

This week has been busy and stressful.
I can't believed that i actually woke up at 5 in the morning to study for my Chinese test.
And it turned out that another teacher who set the paper actually told his class the specific words to study.
@#!@$%$?!
I was also crapping my way through in the chem test that day too.
Sec 3 life really very troublesome.
Also in some other aspects.

Sports heat.
Highlight of the week.
Though i don't feel nervous or anticipate for it.
Well, i my 100m sprint was a close shave.
I prayed to God that if i won't get any medal, please don't pass the heats.
And i didn't, so thank God.
Anyway, i was the fourth behind hidayah ):
For 400m, i was second, but since there are 2 heats and it was the finals that day, i don't think i will get any medal since the third to be is much faster than me.
I almost gave up cause i saw the 3 other canoeists in front of me during the last 100m.
Then suddenly Mr.Mohammad (how to spell-.-) cheered me on and i sprinted all the way...
So..left 4x100m relay on the day itself!
Gonna give my best shot once and for all.
If it's not meant for me this year, then, oh well (:

I was on my way home when i saw a white-haired old woman on a wheelchair with a lady behind pushing the wheels.
Her face was dreamy and joyful, something that was opposite from mine.
I was tired, weary and down casted.
I was defeated by the setbacks i faced.
I want to have the same smile like the old woman's when i grow old someday.
Thinking of the goals i once had.
The perseverance and determination i had.
The courage to face problems.
The undeterred me that was i was once a brave girl.
All i can do now i to live my life to the fullest.
Pick myself up after setbacks.
With God's help.
Yes, that is it.

i don't feel like blogging today, so just some updates.

Bgss canoeing team has been using resistors for training lately, and u can expect all forms of resistors.
From standard rubber or sponge resistors, it turned out to become domestic bottles like fruit punch and orange juice bottles. (looks and sounds funny, but they helps)
Last wednesday our boat lost our rubber resistor halfway during the sets so coach made us use a 2litre softlan bottle.
I can tell you, the boat can hardly move.
Worse then a T2 boat.
Shona placed the rudder all the way to the left but the boat keeps going right(because of the resistance from the bottle), so we jumped lanes like nobody's business ;x
Yesterday we used 1 litre cooking oil bottle.
Better, but have to push hard.
After the sets, we took off our resistors(after weeks!) and did few sets of sprints.
& the water feels duper light.
but the balance was a bit off, and we were rushing our strokes a little.
Alright, i admit my strokes were totally screwed up yesterday ._.
And my stomach wasn't feeling right.
Never eat spicy food or rice/noodles before training!
T.T

School has been stressful ever since we got back our physics paper that almost everyone screwed up.
Still, i wanna thank God that i pass it.
Everyday have test.
I'm very worried about the physics CT next week.
I'm feeing very lazy whenever i see homework.
My mind is a blank when i see physics.
I'm confused about ____.
I have inhibiting friends.
But i hope i can still stay strong.

I totally screwed up my ss test today.

Well, i just hope that i can pass my ss and physics which i may get back next week ):

This week has been fun i guess, if you count last sunday too.
It was canoeing seniors graduation party, which was held at Pasir ris park.
btw, KIM CAME MY CHURCH EVENTUALLY ;D

After church we went to meet up lindsay, shona...then suddenly after i out from the toilet and saw all the sec 3s..(i have no idea where they popped out from haha)
We had truck loads of fun there! (except the rollerblading part-.-)
During rollerblading,
I fell three times and linds fell twice.
AND HER KNEE BLEED.
Because of me.
There was this hump and we held hands, and *PIANG*!
I was on my butt and lins was on her knees.
(u should know why i fell 3 times now cause there were 3 humps that i went pass-.-)

This week's water training was equivalent to no training.
On wed we only managed to go for 1km and there was lightning alert till 5.30 =='
So we did land trng instead and shared the shelter with tpjc.
One wasted day.
Today.
I caught a flu.
So i begged yongsoon to go up stage for me to do some pledge taking for the NRIC stuffs.
You can expect people coming to me ask why all chairpersons on the stage and i'm not.
I cannot afford screwing up the whole session by my sneeze ._.
ANYWAY, we're getting our ICs next tues! ^^

So while the rest were canoeing, i was sitting there with Mrs Choo and Mr Lim, and feeding mosquitoes.
You know what, out of the 7 bites i have ONE HEART-SHAPED BITE.

Due to time constrain, me shona linds and jessie were doing some land training and counted in Spanish, Japanese, Malay(all only can count till 7 HAHA), Chinese and English.

I really dislike waking up early.
But after that going out with my sweeties for some serious SHOPPINGGGG! ^^

Finally it's weekend! :D
I was actually looking forward to the weekend cause i thought that i could catch my sleep. T.T
BUT, i was told that tomorrow have training for sports day at Bedok Stadium.
Grr .__.
8.30, i will be there.
Body there, soul in bed.
Alright.

Tests homework tests homework.
Everyday is the same routine.
You know what i am going to do this weekend?
Of course,

Today's training was a slight improvement from the previous trainings in this year.
I could see that we're recovering bit by bit after a one long month break from canoeing for my partner.
Though the progress is slow, but i could feel it and sense it. :)
Well, i concluded that JIEYI IS TOO EXCITED TODAY.
I was actually reminded by two that my strokes were not coordinating with Shona's!
How can that happen man, i can't believe.
The most basic thing that we have to get right, and i screwed it up.
You probably ask why i am excited.
I was so much reminded that TODAY IS FRIDAY, which is the last day of the weekdays.
Practically i wanted to finish it off asap, though it was a little overreacting :P
Though i was rushing, but i was enjoying the waves and the wind, the way the sky 'opened' and poured out it's gleaming sparkles on the waters.
Magnificent sight.
Though the 'seemly' tranquil moment sounded peaceful, but in actual fact we did not get to enjoy it as much when we're fighting the waves, winds and ourselves to move the boat.
The strokes stopped only when we finished our sets.
Catching my breath, it felt good to sweat it all out.

For our biology class, we were supposed to do the egg-in-vinegar-and-see-how-it-bounce experiment.
Fouzan wanted to show me how his egg can bounce, and happily let go of it on jiahao's table.
What actually happened was that the egg broke, just like how you would break an egg on the frying pan.
And the pan was referred to jiahao's table.
STUNNED.
I was shockingly stunned, seriously, like... why it happens to an egg, in class?
What's more, i felt guilty ):
SORRY FOUZAN that you have to do it again ._.

After clearing up the mess, the whole class went to AVA room for Class period.
Mrs Choo was asking: "How high can you bounce?"

Totally reminding me about the egg breaking incident.

This year's celebration was was rather different from the past, when u can see kids running around.
Now most grown up already.
Time really flies, talking so much about it without really noticing it.
After 50 years, i will be thinking what i had been doing all these while.

This morning went to meet Carissa and Marina at LJS to do our 3D-cell model.
Shannen couldnt make it so...
On my way there saw Nadiah and Atikah in KFC.
That HUGE smile on Nadiah's face.

Had lunch at ljs and did our cell there.
We didnt make a mess there, unlike the time when me kim ys and jh went to do our notice board stuffs. :)

Chem practical class.
It's.A.Wonder.
At the start my flame was burning the retort stand.
I toppled pure hot water collected in a test tube on Shona's practical book.
Carissa and Peifang's boiling tube broke due to the heat.
Zakiah and her partner's experiment collapsed and the beaker broke.
Not sure about the guys cause all busy clearing up their own stuffs.
Instead of collecting the vapour from the boiling tube, most of their flame was too high in and water simply overflow.
Talking about this, i remembered i broke a glass stirrer cause i thought it should be hard.
After it was broke, I was stunned, then continued to break them into 4 pieces since i thought it was going to throw away.
Teacher asked me to explain why 4 pieces instead of 2(a normal break), and i told her why, smiling.
Thank God that day the teacher was a trainee.
What was i thinking.
LOL.

Training yesterday was more on our strokes and kicking.
We were told to count the number of strokes after reaching 500m to the end.(doing 1km)
Although we did 5 rounds of that, i only managed to get the first set simply because...
i cannot multi-task lah.

But anyway, i forgot the amount for the first set already.

This week was on and off good, but was much better than last week.

Talking about my emotional state.

Oh well, had a strain on my neck-shoulder muscles yesterday and after land training back to water, my jaw was chattering and so were my thighs. ):

So this was what we did(or what i rmbred):

- warm up

- planks (hate it but still have to do)

- sit ups x100

- push ups x100

- water: non-stop 6km distance with resistors

- (back to land) : sit ups x100

- push ups x100

- planks (again x3 mins)

- leg raise x100

- (back to water): 100m sprint/takeoff x4

- warm down

- fainted.

HAHA, just kidding la, dots. :P

We are going to use resistors till FEB!

And the week after CNY, 4 trainings per week!

Shoik man, cant wait to take off the resistors and see our improvement over the trainings.

Our class won the nicest class deco(1st) and ox mascot(3rd).

The class deco thingy was so unexpected, cause it was all such a last minute finish up.

And there were other classes that were much nicer i think, seriously.

Had a good stare at our class and couldn't really figure out why still, lols.

The mascot was a future of the ox, wrapped fully with aluminium foil.

Fouzan was in but somehow it turned out to be Aloysius. o.o

Anyway, the fun of all these was the process of doing/making them :)

Had a workshop with somehow benefited our class, or i suppose.

It's named the Power of Shared vision. (i think everybody hear it till sian, haha)

But well, at least we all had fun and bonded our class more.

I didn't know that Nathasya our new student was so enthu haha ^^

This week did not go very well for me as i'm still not used to the timetable yet.
Let's see...

MON: PE, phy, maths (a&e), chem, el, bio, school ends at 4. After that, canoeing land training. Home at 6.
TUE: el, chi, ss, maths(a&e), Egeog, bio, school ends at 4. After that, maybe eill have canoeing training. Home: 6.
WED: common test, el, maths(a&e), phy, chem, maths(a&e)-again, chi. school ends at 2.50.After that that, canoeing water training. Home: 6+/7+.
THURS: Chi, maths(a&e), phy, chem, ss, school ends at 2:15. After that, maths tuition at 3.30. Home: 6.
FRI: el, Egeog, maths (a&e), chi, assembly/class.(probably will have phy after school) school ends at 12.30 or 1. After that, canoeing water training. Home: 5+.

Monday, first day of the week, we have to carry the 3 thick books of phy chem and bio to school, cause we arent allowed to put any of them under our desk.
Everyday home around 6.
Bio lessons teacher told us that he was not to give us any notes cause we are THREE ONE.
and if u dont study bio at home at your own, u wont understand what the heck the teacher is talking about. (just like last tues, an wasted hour trying to get what the teacher is saying but to no avail)
Phy lessons went like a bullet train(what carissa said), and the teacher said that she WAS going too slow, cause not enough time and we are THREE ONE.

We're having an integrated maths of a and e, so only 1 teacher teaching both, who we have to see EVERYDAY, but she's quite nice, and i have my extra maths tuition so i could consider it a lesson i can cope with.

Chi, the teacher claims that she is a very good teacher. Alright i admit she's rather nice.( cause she hadn't scolded us yet, and said that we are a good school in terms of students' character although it is a neighbourhood school)

The process was so fast, unlike those who queue for hours last year and the past.

This morning, i wore my uniform.

Well, today is more of admin and housekeeping rules in school, those boring introduction you can expect at the first day of school.
I feels not right, as if we're back for some retest with some students from other classes, with half a class of familiar faces were gone.
Yes, 2/1 has moved on, with the students spread over the 5 express classes.
3/1, a new set of numbers that will appear on my worksheets all over starting from today.
Time passed really fast, really really fast.
EL, CL, E Maths, A Maths, Triple Sciences, Geog Elect.
They are waiting for me.

Our form teacher is Mrs Choo, our canoeing teacher!
And guess what, i'm the class chairman, no, chairwoman for 3/1.
Teacher said it was temporary, AND i hope it's true.
I wonder how 3/1 will survive WITH me.

Well,
belated MERRY CHRISTMAS! ^^
My sister hog onto the comp yesterday so didn't get to use it.
I spent Christmas at home! D:
Only went out with family for dinner.
Suchabore, did homework during Christmas.

Church's Christmas celebration at Singapore bible College was fun, and the musical was great too!
Shuqi's voice was angelic :D

Let's see what i did today...
Woke at 12, ate breakfast (i insisted it was breakfast as it was my first meal for the day), finish up my book report, go jogging (rained so only managed to run for 20 mins), had a hot shower, ate dinner and use computer.
BORING!
Monday church's chalet, movie and badminton i not going...
CAUSE, no particular reason.
I just don't have the high mood for all the screams especially when i know holiday assignments are wait for me at home, lying there with such huge anticipation that i had to attend to them to make myself feel less guilty. ;x
May going watch Twilight with Kim and Shirly on Mon instead.

Bought dress, cardigans, skirt, belt. (:

Shona is still not back.
And she's not coming back for the last week of training (This week)

What else can i say, but, haix.
Took k2 with lindsay.
Had resistors connected to it, and it was like, 'awww'.
Imagine continously paddling for a near-half-an-hour.
coach said it will slow down the boat by 50-60%. (did i remembered correctly? or it is 50-70%?)
It mean x2 of out strength to move an inch of the boat.
The last part, we were practically using our bones to paddle...
I'm so weak.
The amount of time i have to train is not enough,
the amount of time i have with my partner is not enough,
the amount of passion i have in canoeing is not enough,
not enough to keep me going.
But today's ODB says: 'Looking for someone who won't disappoint you? Look to Jesus."
Canoeing may disappoint me.
My friends may disappoint me.
My partner may disappoint me.
But Jesus won't.
Look to Jesus, leave my problems to him!

Went maths tuition with the 2 girls today.

Became the delivery girl for their lunch. T.T

Lindsay chong was so funny today.

Me and Kim finished our stuffs, ready to leave, left lindsay trying to solve her last maths question.

After quite some time, she finished...

Lindsay: "Aww, please dont say wrong..." (crossed fingers)

Teacher: "eh, not correct leh."

In the end we had to wait for her to do it again before it was right.

"Take train from Bedok to Jurong East, change train then go to Choa Chu Kang, then take LRT to the furthest place, Fajar. The trip approximately 1 and a half hour if fast."

She's away for a holiday trip for 10 days, so i agreed to take care of her hamsters meanwhile.

Anyway, we left early so reached there 'on time'.

She passed me this cage, with 4 CUTE hamsters!!(forgot to take picture, but will next time)

Alright, i'm officially back to Singapore from Pulau ubin since yesterday! (nonsense, when Pulau Ubin was not part of Singapore)
It was a great sweaty heaty fun tiring exciting blasting crazy breathtaking dangerous thrilling wild lively entertaining sporty playful jolly hilarious spirited vivacious high spirited bubbly day!

Alright, after we reached there and met the rest, i was wondering why they were there.
I asked: "Weren't we supposed to meet at the bball court?" (cause there was no net, no court, nth looks like a bball court)

Drew face paint on our faces, and we look like lil Indians.
Especially for Gillian, when her group name is 'Red Indians". :D
It's funny when someone contacted the people who were not at the meeting point, and the reply was, "I'm in pulau ubin already!"

After everyone arrived, we went there by boat.
Loud engine and nice waves.
Felt like im in my kayak when there are huge winds and waves(lol)
Had great fun there!
I injured my left knee at the first station, the bowling alley, which we had to slide ourselves across the soapy waters on canvas sheets to hit the pins(1.5L water bottle)
Landed on the rough sand even before i touched the canvas, so... ):
That's not the fact, but is that we're wet at the first station alr, haha! =x
Then at The Bicycle, 7 people up the 2sitter bike with only 2 pairs of feet touching the ground, while transporting flour to another place.
After the game finished, Calvin was like asking,"eh, how come your group only Jieyi so..."(he means so much flour on me)

Yesterday

Went outing to East Coast Park with Church youths!

ME, joy, jasmine, weilin, xinhui, grace, lijuan, vivian, isabel, felly, noel, chengxin, calvin, sihao, glen, moses, nicholas (anymore? ;x)

Went cycling for around 2 hours, became the 'cab' of chengxin and sihao who were roller blading ==' lol.

Yesterday was land training, today i planned to relax myself but unfortunately i was cycling when i found myself...perspiring... ._.

Haha.

After cycling had macs for lunch, then i went rollerblading! ^^

Well, Jieyi's very noob in that...

First time or second trying it.

I didnt want (or dare) to try in the first place, seeing noel and jasmine falling and falling LOUDLY.

T.T

But was persuaded by Han En to do it tgt with her.

Wore my blades and my dear cousin xinhui held me and tried to teach me how to skate all the way back to our shelter.

At the start, i held on to moses's back while he's on the bike cycling, but i end up falling like. 3 times? =='

All i had to do was to put my feet in a '11' shape, hold on and go.

It was a wonder how i even fell.

Then i gave up, so tried to gilde back slowly.

Gave Xinhui a lot of heart attacks.

Many nearly-falling and more fell.

After a long long long time when we finally reached out hut, i tried to learn myself at the road beside it, together with Grace.

So the rain continue to go on and on, so we decided to play games there. Poor weilin calvin and moses were forfeited, so that had to do all the funny actions in front of the camera. Will it be on agape's blog? hahah :D Went home eventually because the weather did not allow us to do anything else. Went home with joy, grace, moses and nicholas on bus 31. Although was wet and tired, i wanna thank God for yesterday :D

Read a book- Heaven is so Real by Choo Thomas, & it's about this woman going to heaven and hell, lead by God to show her what happens when the end is here- Jugdement day.
Regardless whether the book's contents are true or not, it's really real that the end is coming, in fact the Lord has already prepared our seats for us. I really want my loved and closed ones to really accept and know Jesus, so that they will all be saved and have eternal life. I do not want to see any of them in the pit of fire, the hell. The Lord love us so much, but yet we are still sinful and is very attached to the worldly affairs. Hand everything, including your life unto the Lord, for he will take care of all your troubles. I'm learning that too. I pray that God will lead me, and bless all of you who are reading this. (:

Yesterday
NEW COMPUTER!
Hoho, big thanks to MR LIM! :D
Haha, he came over and help for the whole process of buying and installing.
Bought the pieces like mother board, processor and...(what else?._.)
He supposed he had a big head when we're choosing the casing, cause whenever he asked whether this is nice, i said "Can, all looks the same to me." ;x
In the end, we chose a red color one, cool and pretty (:
He wanted to teach me how to put them all together.. and ta-da, it's a computer!
As to how much i learnt.....(silence)
HAHAH ._.
Wide and big screen, but im not used to the brightness of white backgrounds.
Nvm, i'll get used to it. (it's bad)
But still, i wanna thank God for it!
(probably he prepared Mr Lim to bring me, the computer idiot to shop for the stuffs, haha)

Also, yesterday was someone's BIG day.

Yesterday was an example of low level of endurance.

Felt lifeless after the first 1km, cause the rest of the timing was lousyyyy.

Our boat raced with the sec 3s, instead with the sec 2s and 1s.

Despite having Mr.Ismail putting us in a more challenging batch, we let down his expectation.

Timing had a sharp drop, sheesh.

Gotta train harder ._.

While waiting for ep 5 of Ryusei no Kizuna, went to watch The 1st shop Coffee Prince.

Lol, i watch it only after the craze. ;x

The language felt like a stranger to me, after watching Jap drama all the time :D

Alright, i'm trying to entertain myself.
Today has been another boring day at home.
BUT, i found another show to watch!

But i rather to have my sister than to be in the characters' situation, whereas their(the 3 orphans) parents were killed and they live their lives trying to find the murderer & kill him.

Yesterday after trng went ljs for a snack w the canoeists and the badminton guys. Poor sokshan working there & got caught by her manager. LOL.
